I had 15-minute screening interview with the hiring manager, and then a 1 hour in-person panel interview with the design team at LUUM Textiles (contract textile design studio under parent company Teknion). I wrote same-day thank you letters to everyone I interviewed with, and was met with radio silence for over 4 weeks before getting an automated rejection letter from Teknion. After two rounds, it would have been nice to hear back sooner and in a less impersonal manner. Of the five people on the LUUM Textiles design team that I interviewed with during the panel, three of them didn't seem to know anything about my background and had almost nothing to say (no questions, no input, no interest in building rapport). The head of the design team talked about being a "control freak" during the interview. It seems like a toxic environment, steer clear.
