Initial conversations with HR provided valuable insights into the role and company culture. The technical interview with the manager explored team dynamics and technology, although it lacked focus on evaluating my skills directly. However, the disappointment came when I was ghosted before the final round of pair programming. Despite expectations and prior communication about the next steps, there was no follow-up or communication from the company. I suggest clearer communication and better responsiveness to candidates to enhance the overall experience. While there were positive aspects to the process, such as informative discussions with HR, the disappointment of being ghosted overshadowed them.
