I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Teradyne (Agoura Hills, CA) in Nov 2024
Interview
I had applied on the company website using a referral and within 3 days I received a call back to be scheduled with the hiring manager. The first round with the hiring manager was pretty simple. They went over my CV and asked me to talk about my previous work experience. Since the job requirements was for C++ and C# engineer and my work experience was in that so we talked mostly about it. Followed by few coding problems which were very simple. In one of the coding problem they asked me what the output would be and in the second problem they asked me to find the error. All of these problems were based on pass by value and pass by reference and pointer.
Got a green signal to be interviewed on site by 4 different people at Agoura Hills. They paid for my travel expenses and were kind enough to offer me lunch. The onsite interview was mainly focused on solving basic leetcode problems which I wasn't very proficient with so I think I fumbled there but at least I was able to explain my thought process and write a pseudo code. They also briefly asked me to go through my CV and the basic interview question "Tell me about yourself". I wish I would have prepared a little better.
There are two arrays A and N but they are receiving a wrong input so if A should receive a input as 1, it's receiving 0. So write a program so count all the number of results in array A.
Initial video interview with the manager was asked some high level technical questions. I was invited on-site for another 3 rounds of purely technical interviews with one senior engineer for about 45 minutes per round. I thought the difficulty level was set pretty high for a new grad position. The manager and senior engineer came off quite rude. They did not reimburse me for the travel expenses like they said they would.
