Initial graduate teaching position was provided as part of the graduate program from the department. Upon graduation additional instructional laboratory staff was needed and having an excellent teaching record I was approached to fill the position of Instructional assistant temporarily semester by semester. No formal interview was done with the department.

I interviewed with administrators from my department that I was familiar with. It seemed like they had already chosen me from the start and the interview was a formality. They asked all of the typical interview questions, and we spent time talking about where they needed help and what the expected job duties would be.
