      Manufacturing Engineering Intern Interview

      22 Sept 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Gainesville, FL
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Gainesville, FL) in Sept 2023

      Interview

There were 4 or 5 standard behavioral questions that dealt with working on a team or dealing with conflict on a team. One of these was "what was one time that you had to make a sacrifice or change in your work style when on a team with someone who was different than you. After that, there was one more technical question about root cause analysis. Overall the interview did feel very corporate. Straightforward behavioral questions with long breaks in between of the interviewer taking notes.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

If you came into work and a piece of equipment that is supposed to be powered on is actually powered off, what is the process you would go through to determine the root cause of that failure.
