The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Teza Technologies (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Quite a bit like the classic tech interview setup. About 5 rounds of one-on-one interviews including an interview with the CEO. All the interviewers were pleasant and the questions were engaging. Quite a bit of focus on programming and math with a few questions about markets. I was coming from a non-finance background so even though there were questions about electronic exchanges they were framed in a way that did not require specific knowledge.

One question was about data structures to maintain an order book.
Contacted by a recruiter through LinkedIn regarding a potential opportunity and advanced to the assessment stage, where I completed a technical evaluation designed to measure problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and role-specific skills.

Got a linkedin referral, and took a Hackerrank online assessment. There were two problems, the first one was about data analysis, and the second one was Leetcode style. I received the next interview opportunity.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Teza Technologies (Austin, TX)
Interview
Started with a Hackerrank with two questions, one LeetCode. A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and sent me the test. I did not get through to the next round.
