Any candidate that interviews for a technical role at Thatcher is given a logic test prior to meeting and interviewing with hiring managers. The logic test has been in practice and has been an effective tool in gauging and assessing the skills needed in technical roles. The hiring managers ask many questions during the interview process to understand your experience and/or details of coursework projects. Hiring managers do not expect all candidates to know everything regarding the programs or coding language used. Asking questions in an interview is the only way hiring managers can compare the information provided on resumes to real life experience, and if a candidate would be a good fit for the role. Thatcher reviews all candidate’s education and past experience when placement on the salary scale is determined at the time of an offer.
