I had a brief phone screen, then a face to face interview. It was an interview with one person. She attempted to be pleasant, but it did not seem genuine. Perhaps she didn't like that I had no direct experience in call center management. I have management experience on a professional level and I have worked in several call centers. It's important that I mention I am a current temporary employee on assignment at Cigna in another office. I know the inner workings of Cigna Healthspring and thought that would work in my favor. I received a rejection email about 6 weeks after the interview, stating I didn't meet the minimum requirements. Why the recruiter could not make the effort to establish that before I wasted my time, gas and energy for the interview is news to me. It's so hard to get a job now, but the people judging you are ineffective and unprofessional at their own jobs. That's the most discouraging part.
