The recruiter didn’t turn on his camera for the initial screening. When I got to the second step, I was told it would take a week to choose who to move forward to the final onsite interview. After the week came and went, I sent a follow up, and was told I would have an answer the following week. Welp, that week came went, and I ended up withdrawing my candidacy. Shouldn’t take two weeks to choose who to bring onsite. I was met with “have a great day!” by the NPC recruiter.

Be ready for multiple interview phases with the people who you will work with and/ or support. Part of the process is on the phone, and the other part virtual.
