I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Cyclepath (Calgary, AB) in Jan 2015
Interview
What a joke! After two emails of scheduling and confirmation on the actual day of the interview they didn't know I was coming! The interview was conducted on the fly (and arranged on the fly as well) with the operations manager and with the general manager (the owner - that presented to me as the GM). they conducted a back room interview with no structure.

Question 1
They read my resume in less than 30 sec and asked me to tell them about myself. After a 10 minute resume in person presentation and some high lights of some key attributes that I though my experience may be relevant to that kind of shop - I was told that the owner wasn't there and they would had to pass the information to that guy and that they would get back to my contact within 1 week. I asked about the salary, compensations and schedule - they both said that it would be up to the owner to decide that kind of things (remember the owner was seat at the interview pretending he was the general manager). So I said okay contact me when you have any news either if you are interested or not. Up today past several weeks - guess what - yes you are right - nothing at all not a line in a lousy email or a phone call, zero!
What can one expect from a shop that first introductions is a big fat lie? I am glad that I wasn't given the opportunity to work there as I couldn't see my self fitting in such culture.
