Interview 1 was a classic phone screener interview with someone from HR. Interview 2 was a 9+ panel of employees interviewing me all at once. They didn't even bother to send a rejection email after putting me through that. Feels tacky and unprofessional of them.

Interview
The interview was straightforward and relatively easy. I applied online - received a glowing email from Angie and asked to come in. They were very accommodating - letting me know they wanted me to stay for hours so I could complete a writing test.
For the in-person interview, I met with several people including my potential boss Jeanne (who was amazing) and a few others (less amazing).
I brought my portfolio and was immediately accused of showing work that I didn't have permission to share (I did get approval from my job beforehand), was talked down to, made fun of when I stumbled on a word.
Then I met with the head of the agency. He asked questions like did I know how to get places on time (I arrived to the interview 15 minutes early) and did I EVEN know how to write well? He was pretty aggressive in tone - which was offputting.
The writing test was straightforward. Summarize something for a client. Then there was Excel test. What was hilarious, everyone Google searched the answers for Excel - you could see the browser history.
Next, they wanted me to do a free analysis of their current client's website as a final step in the interview. I turned them down and took another offer. A former employee said I made the right choice.

Interview
Shortly after applying, I was asked two do a half-hour video interview. Two people interviewed me over Zoom. They were friendly and thoughtful in answering my questions. The interview was followed by a one-hour writing test. Within a couple of weeks, I got a phone call with an offer.
