I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2011
Interview
There was a two step interview process. The first step was a technical phone interview in which they evaluated my technical skills and asked questions about items on my resume. My interview was very straightforward and friendly; it was a conference call with two IT developers. They asked me a couple of questions about the projects I worked on and tested my familiarity with the programming languages listed on my resume.
The second step was an on-site interview with three IT developers at their headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The developers were extremely friendly and very easy to talk to. The interview was basically a behavioral interview combined with efforts to figure out where I would best fit into their IT department. I received my offer for an internship only two days after the interview.
I interviewed at The Home Depot (Monterrey, Nuevo León)
Interview
Fue un proceso bastante sencillo, donde realizaban preguntas en relación a la persona y el puesto. Además dejaban muy en claro las tareas que se iban a realizar durante el día.

it was good and i thought that the interviewers were nice and overall it was a good experience and taught me about what kinds of questions are asked in big companies.
Great process and smooth interview. Talked about why I want to work at Home Depot as well. They made me want to work at Home Depot which I loved. Great team and culture
