I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2017
Interview
They got my resume at a career fair and emailed me a couple months later about an interview at their headquarters. When I showed up there were about 15 other people being interviewed for the same job. They gave us a tour of the building and then there were two rounds of interview questions, with two interviewers each time. A lovely facility and met some down to earth, nice people. They said they would get back to us in about two weeks with an answer. I hadn't heard anything in nearly three months so I emailed the HR employees asking for updates. They said they would check with the recruiters and let me know. They never got back to me. Found out from a friend that they gave out offers months ago. I respect their decision to not give me an offer, I just wish they had the decency to tell me I didn't get the job instead of never giving me an answer and making me wonder. Home Depot, please have a little more respect for your interviewees that take time out of their lives and spend money to be present for your interviews. Thank you.
