Sent in my application and received an interview screening where the asked some basic get to know you questions. They asked about how my experiences will help me in the role.

Question 1
How would your past job experiences help you excel in this role?
1st - round was normal HR call, basic details related to job and familiarity with the designation.
2nd - round was taken by the Main person who wants to hire, in my case professor.
Asked about what experiemts I have done and some details related to that (online) (PCR, Western, Cell culture, etc)
3rd - in person interview with all lab members and other professors.

Rate yourself in lab skills/techniques like PCR, Western Blot, Cell Culture, assay techniques, ELISA, Flow cyto, with main principal (+ Whatever you wrote on CV) mention mice experiments if done.
Why are you interested in biology? What do you want to achieve my getting tis position?
Explain full experiment from step A to Z? What mistakes you typically do in lab?
What do you do for fun? and how frequently
etc etc.

They responded to my application within 24 hours of applying. I had a phone interview to talk about past experiences and details on my resume. The process was very smooth and the feedback given was honest and prompt.
