I was told by the recruitment consultant that it would be a half hour Microsoft Teams interview. She even sent me a link a few days before that had the Lead Generation Company contact as a listed participant and they were copied into the email. Instead, at the time of the interview, the Lead Generation Company interviewer called me on my telephone and asked a few interview questions. It lasted for 10 minutes. I was with another employer at the time and the last question she asked me was "If I were to call your current employer, what would they say about you?" I then had the chance to ask her some questions, which I did but something about her tone in her last question to me told me I would not be offered the job. I am not sure she was serious about finding out what I could bring to the role as the recruiter had told me it would be a half hour web interview, so that was obviously the length of the interview that was given to all the other candidates. I am not sure whether it was my West African surname but it was a very short interview.
