I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Money Advice Trust (Birmingham, England) in Nov 2024
Interview
Friendly and efficient interview process. Kept informed and updated. 1st step was initall telephone interview then face to face. Gave tour of building. Suggestion is to only give tour to those who are fortunate to pass the stages. Otherwise its harder being declined and knowing what we are missing out on. Placed on reserve list so hopeful. Grateful for the opportunity

Interview
2 interviewers ask competency based questions regarding the role such as where you've shown resilience in your previous work and how you will manage workload etc. They seemed very serious but were welcoming and guided you if you forget any details, prompting you to explain further if they need clarification which was appreciated.

Interview
Applied via the online portal, which has a few glitches but HR were responsive and explained they were in the middle of moving to a new platform. The interview itself was fine, standard questions for the type of role. However, it took nearly a month to hear the decision on the post, despite being told I would hear within a week. I followed up with HR a couple of times and eventually heard I wasn’t successful. I asked for feedback, twice, and none was given.
