I had a 20 minute intro call with a recruiter. The questions and conversation flow were awkward. Following that call, it was clear this wasn't a fit for either party.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at The Rounds (Washington, DC) in Mar 2024
Interview
Long and completely irrelevant to your job. They don’t even know what they’re doing at The Rounds. They are a sham as well. Not really sustainable just liars. They also gatekeep information so you feel like your’re like constantly out of the loop and they still are going under.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at The Rounds (New York, NY) in Aug 2024
Interview
Interview process was long, with multiple stages, including an in-person final round.
The Rounds paid for my travel, but declared it as income so I now have to pay taxes on it, something I've never encountered before while recruiting.
