The interview was going great, then I asked when they're looking to have someone start because I was under contract on a house. The interviewer then abruptly ended the interview early because she said my lender wouldn't allow me to get a new job during the process. I wasn't even given a chance to ask any more questions about the role. I spoke with my lender and he said it would be no problem to switch jobs. I emailed the interviewer, thanked her for her time, and relayed what my lender said. She asked me for work samples and told me to ask any other questions I had. I sent over work samples and questions, and never received any answers to my questions or a simple "We won't be moving forward with you." My interview was in November. It's now January and I still haven't heard back. So unprofessional, rude, and a waste of time.
