I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Palo Alto, CA) in Oct 2012
Interview
Very easy and comfortable and I felt supported throughout the process. It was more about the work that was already seen by others. I also felt there was lots of room for growth. I also knew the person somewhat who asked me to interview and offered me the job. It was very comfortable and I did an audition as well. Once I was interviewed I was then submitted for a background check and waited about 1 week before it came back clear.
