I applied directly through their website and was contacted by an HR rep to setup a 30 minute teams interview. It was your standard HR interview, he told me a lot about the company, the work they do, and I told him about me and my background and benefits.
I had a follow interview after that with the director of engineering. This was a nice change of pace from other technical interview's I had done. Essentially a conversation about your background and the work you did at your company. If you can competently talk about your work, experience and how it will apply and help this company, I think you're golden.
