There were a total of two rounds of interviews, I guess it's because they were urgently trying to fill in the spot. Applied online on their career portal and got a message from their recruiter/ talent acquisition team shortly after a month. Then we scheduled for an on site interview with the hiring/ team manager that I will be working under. Was a mediocre interview since I was preparing for an Algorithm Engineer role, however ended up being interviewed for Software Dev/ MLOps/ Systems Engineer related stuff. The onsite interview was broken down into two parts, first was written technical assesment then followed by technical discussions of my projects. Yes my projects were very AI/ NLP/ Agentic solutions heavy but afterall I was interviewing for an Algorithm Engineer Role, hence I couldn't give an amazing answer for the kinds of questions they were asking me as they were ALL NOT related to the role I applied for at all.
