      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Tibra (Sydney) in Oct 2022

      Interview

It was fun, but long and quite hard. The following was their overall interview process: 1-) Apply online and then if accepted, they will send you 3 coding questions to answer. 2-) Then Solve some Behavioural questions. 3-) Then if accepted, they will do a 30-min call where I think they will ask you about 2 maths questions and then some behavioural questions 4-) Then if successful (which they will tell you on the spot), you will have a 1-hour zoom call with two developers where they will just hammer you with questions. 5-) Finally, you do a final interview where it consists of some brainteasers and all that. Done. As a side note, their interview process does not really reflect their pay. What I mean by that is that their interview process is really hard relative to the garbage salary that they pay for their traders (it is so extremely low!). To give you an overall idea, you get "WAY" (And I really mean WAY) less than 50% of what any other typical trading firm pays you (e.g., IMC, Optiver, Akuna Capital, etc.)

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

I can't remember it exactly. But just a normal/typical brainteaser question that involves some basic arithmetic calculations and a bit of thinking and that is it.

      Interview

The first round is a regular coding test, after you pass that they give you a call asking you some brain teasers to test your ability to think. Following the that is a group challenge however the question is pretty vague.

      Question 1

The group question asks you to do a simple regression on a time series
