Brief phone call (around 10 minutes), very general questions (nothing too scary), editor seemed like he was in a rush. You will be asked to write an article to see if your style is suitable for the magazine, which is also due as soon as possible. You will get an email a week later with their decision.

COVID era hiring/interview done through a video call. Interview itself was semi-casual, but you had to submit a series of tasks that took ~ 2 hours to complete, given a deadline of around 3 days.

Interview
It took less than a week. I sent my CV and was asked to go to an interview the next day. We had friendly conversations and it was a very positive experience. I was hired immediately.
