Interviewed with them last year. 2 telephonic screenings. Not much technical, just few questions on the resume and background.
Was invited onsite. Had several one on one interviews. Not very hard, repetitive questions, mostly on projects mentioned in the Resume and some basic technical questions. No whiteboard coding. The managers *seemed* to be very strong technically, the engineers looked pretty average.
Talks failed in the salary negotiation stage. I quoted a very reasonable range, but they pay way too less than the industry standards. I was surprised, as they claimed that it was a growing start-up and has more than a hundred customer/clients worldwide.
The worst part was, they didn't reply to my follow-up emails(after I got back home) until I sent them like about 3 emails over a couple of weeks. Then again, no reply to my response to the concerns raised by them in that email. I was willing to negotiate from my side, but no response. No decision ever conveyed.
I understand that they may have had bad experiences in the past when they hired someone whose salary expectations didn't match with what they were offering. But then, I didn't understand the logic behind not conveying final decision or not replying to emails. That's very strange !
Nothing personal but overall a weird/confused experience.
