The whole process took 4 weeks. Applied online. Was contacted by the Store Manager 2 days later. We set up an initial interview for the next day. This company requires 3 interviews for management positions. Met with the Store Manager in person. It was a pretty standard interview overall. Seemed easy to me because I had worked for the company for 3 years at another location. I had a phone interview with the Assistant Store Manager a couple days later and a phone interview with another Store Manager in the sales region. Those were pretty standard as well...how would you coach an employee? How do you generate sales when traffic is slow? Normal questions like that. I was offered the position a couple weeks later and started about 4-5 weeks after I submitted my application.

Basically I had never been a retail manager before but had other management experience so the questions relating to managing/coaching employees on the sales floor were the most difficult for me.

2nd interview with GM - In depth knowledge of structure of business and previous experience with full teams.
3rd interview with RM Review of all knowledge and overall understanding.
