I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Torrid (Auburn Hills, MI) in Nov 2013
Interview
I filled out the application and went in for the interview that same week. I was offered a position after meeting with the store and district manager. Generally you have to go in and pick out an stylish outfit as a part of the interview but I was a frequent shopper so they allowed me to skip that part.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Torrid (Columbus, OH)
Interview
Initial interview done in the stockroom area of store. Asked to return for 2nd interview with District manager the next day at Panera? I had no clue what manager looked like, I had to awardly walk up to random people and ask for the name I was given.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Torrid
Interview
I talked to the general manager for months. She would call me to let me know they didn't have anything quite yet but it was in the works. We did a phone interview initially and after about 4 months I met with her and district manager. The interview itself was fine, I never heard back which after speaking with me for so long was annoying. I tried to call the store and her cell for a follow up and nothing. Simply telling me no thanks would have been appreciated. To be fair I'm overly qualified.
I had 2 interview that I felt that were informative and they asked interest questions about my personal style to what customer service meant to me. There is also an assessment test that is basically a personality test.
