Interview
After applying, Toyo requires candidates to complete a battery of assessments, which include speed reading comprehension, speed facial emotion recognition, personality test, and a brief speed Excel test (this one was directly relevant to the role). The testing takes about an hour and while I did well on it, my opinion is that it is designed to eliminate otherwise very well qualified candidates who just don't test well, don't speed read well, have English as a second language, etc., and it's a reflection of the culture that they treat people like a machine with a failure point. Take from that what you will.
The recruiter called me and wanted to set up the interview ASAP. Had a virtual interview with the hiring manager and a consultant that has been working with the company. They were nice but the hiring manager mentally checked out at the halfway point. I got a rejection notice a few days later.

There were three interviews. A phone call, a team's call, and an in-person meeting. The recruiter is very involved in getting your foot in the door. You will meet with your department manager and be asked questions relevant to the job.

They wait 4+ weeks and then tell you you've been denied. They likely knew early on but wait until the number 1 candidate background test was completed. odd in this economy to keep people waiting.
