The interview process was fairly quick. I applied, received a screen call from their Operations/HR professional the next week. I had to take an assessment and then spoke with their Professional Services lead. The following week I was invited for an interview in their office in Washington, DC. They do not pay for any fees related to interviewing travel.
The pros were that the process was quick and they got back to me immediately saying I did not receive an offer. The cons were that the feedback was very general and I personally felt was just an excuse to say I do not fit in. The office clearly has a "type" of person working there, in coordinance to physical appearance and overall demeanor. I did not fit this archetype and was very aware of that the moment I stepped into the office. The environment also seemed tense.
My advice to TrackMaven is that you should be more respectful of others' time and monetary input in applying for a job and providing immediate feedback during the interview instead of slopping together some excuse not to hire. It is okay to want to have a certain type of fit, but be honest with that upfront. I will be following up with the CEO to provide that feedback as well.
