Applied online, got an interview invitation in about a month or so. Interview consisted of a practical part and a competency-based interview. Nothing new, did them a number of times before. There were some questions around technical skills & knowledge as well as focusing on communication and customer service.
Although the course of the interview went well, I had the feeling that it was more around "ticking boxes" than getting to know me as an applicant and finding about my fit into the team.
I was promised a quick turnaround in giving me detailed feedback in 3-4 days but I have never heard back. I emailed them 2 weeks later only to find out that the HR contact was on holiday and will get back to me upon return. Emailed again 2 weeks later, still no feedback. About 5 weeks after the interview I received a template rejection email, that's all, which I find quite disappointing. On the contrary I am happy that I didn't get an offer - reading other reviews on here it seems that's the "normal way" of handling applicants at TfL... Disappointing.
