I had an initial phone interview followed by a two round interview to assess technical skill and personal fit respectively. Both were conducted over zoom and were very freeform. The technical portion was mostly a series of questions about my technical background and a few specific questions more closely relevant to their products. The personal interview was mostly a casual conversation. Everyone was very pleasant. The onboarding process itself was much more difficult, purportedly because they were transitioning to a new HR system. The background check was exceedingly difficult compared to past experiences with other companies and things were generally very confused and haphazard. In hindsight, this was ultimately a symptom of some company wide issues with organization and communication.
