I wanted to share my experience with the hiring process, which was unfortunately disappointing and unprofessional.
I was initially contacted for a screening round, followed by two interviews. I was informed that I had successfully cleared both rounds. Based on this, I shared my last working day (April 27, 2026) and aligned my joining date to April 28, 2026.
After this, communication dropped completely. My calls and emails went unanswered. Only after repeated follow-ups did I receive a response stating that the offer letter would be released by afternoon. I waited the entire day but received no update.
Trusting this assurance, I made the decision to drop another existing offer. However, on April 28—the very day I was supposed to join the other organization—I was contacted again and questioned about why I had dropped my offer. I was then told that another colleague would reach out.
During that conversation, I was asked to repeat details already shared earlier and was informed that confirmation from the interview panel was still pending. This directly contradicts the earlier communication where I was told I had cleared the rounds and that the offer letter was in progress.
When I asked why I had been given confirmation and expectations of an offer if the interview results were not yet finalized, I did not receive a clear or satisfactory explanation.
Additionally, the interactions with the HR team felt dismissive and lacked basic professionalism. Concerns were not addressed clearly, and the tone of communication at times came across as indifferent rather than supportive.
This experience caused unnecessary stress and reflects poorly on the coordination and transparency of the hiring process. I had a positive impression of the company based on its reviews, which is why I was interested in joining. However, my experience with the HR team significantly changed that perception.
I hope this feedback helps other candidates make informed decisions and avoid taking any major steps until they have a confirmed offer in hand.
