Phone screen with hiring manager, followed by 2-hr on-site interview with hiring manager, followed by full-day of interviews with various management, all layers. It wasn't until I was the final candidate did we enter into salary negotiations.
Overall, the process was fair and open. It was not overly technical, but then again, I have spent significant time in technology, so I may be a poor judge.
