I applied online. I interviewed at Trump Card in May 2026
Interview
I applied online and promptly received an appointment request from the recruiter. We had a 30 minute Zoom meeting that was very conversational. The recruiter made me really excited about the role and the company culture. She explained the hiring process was two more interviews; next was a Zoom meeting with the hiring manager and if that went well, they would hopefully be able to schedule an in person coffee meeting with me and a peer. It all sounded great. Unfortunately my interview with the hiring manager was bad. She showed up to the interview with low energy and was not interested in interviewing me. I had done a lot of preparation for the interview and prepared a sales strategy and approach for the role. The hiring manager seemed annoyed by this and was not interested in hearing about it at all. I thought this was strange since the recruiter told me to do this research. Anyway, I withdrew my application after the interview. The process and people were really inconsistent and it gave me bad vibes.

1. Call with their inside recruiter. Conversational. Easy.
2. Interview with territory manager. Conversational. This company is very good at gauging your abilities and personality without it feeling like an interview.
3. Teams interview with VP or executive level.
4. Panel interview in Carlsbad, CA. You’re flown out and all accommodations are paid for. Your chauffeur is a hidden interview. How you treat people when you think nobody is looking is important. Panel interview with 4-6 senior employees.

Interview
The interview process felt like a genuine conversation, everyone I spoke with asked insightful questions that allowed me to share my goals, ambitions, and the direction I want to take in my career. It wasn't just about my qualifications but also about who I am as a person and what drives me.
I felt that they were genuinely interested in making sure this role aligned with my goals. They also took the time to explain the company's values, culture, and expectations, which helped me assess whether it was a good fit for me as well. I took the job and have been here several years and plan on many more to come!
