      Project Manager Interview

      6 Feb 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tulip

      Interview

Applied online, contacted by HR for a conversation about Tulip and my skills. Great experience, HR seemed to understand how important it is to be in contact with candidates and update them on a regular basis about the status - another good sign. Was called for onsite interview with HR, two other PMs and the hiring manager. Again great experience with both PMs, we shared our battle scars and work approaches to solve problems. Hiring manager asked standard questions, no actual presentation of the role or expectations from the candidates. HR was very friendly and explained about the company, the culture and challenges. The negative experience is that the HR just ghosted me. I sent two follow up emails to ask about the status, got no response. It's unfortunate that after all I have to rate this as a negative experience, I believe everyone deserve a closure, especially after taking the time to meet onsite with the team and a promise to update me on status of the application.

      Product Manager Interview

      22 Jan 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Kitchener, ON
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Tulip (Kitchener, ON) in Dec 2017

      Interview

Applied online. Recruiter reached out 2 weeks later. Scheduled 30 min phone screen with recruiter, followed by a 30 min call with hiring manager a week later to discuss my background. Went in for an in-person interview a few weeks afterwards (due to the holidays) and met with 2 members of the team separately. First part consisted of a 90 minute deep dive into my background and experience. Second part was a 30 min technical interview. Got an offer a few days shortly afterwards. Overall positive experience. Tulip's recruiting team was very proactive and made sure to keep the ball rolling, even during the holiday season.
