I got a message from a recruiter at an external site asking if I was interested in the role. I got on a call with him within a couple days and submitted my resume right away. Within a week I had a phone screen and two in-person interviews. One in-person was on-site and the other was over video. I had a followup call with the CMO after our in-person since we ran a little long and were having a great conversation. Within two weeks of scheduling the on-sites, I had an offer in hand and was ready to accept. The whole thing happened pretty fast, and I appreciated that I didn't have to submit projects or sit through hours and hours of interviews.
