I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Turek
Interview
i was handed a questionnaire with questions i felt uncomfortable answering, for example religion, i'm pretty sure employers aren't allowed to ask candidates about religion, sex diseases and other personal stuff.

I applied online. I interviewed at Turek (Vienna) in Jan 2023
Interview
The interview process was conducted in a unprofessional manner. There was no communication between the HR who arranged the interview and the interviewer (a Manager at Turek moden). The job required English for the position. I was invited for an interview which was 2 hours away from where I lived. I had no problem to travel for the interview as I want to relocate to Vienna. To ensure I did not waste anyone's time I confirmed with the HR if German was a prerequisite for the position as I had zero German language skills. The HR confirmed that I needed no German skills. When I walked in the interview the interviewer was caught of guard that I did not speak German and said that this will be a problem. I got the following response from the HR as an unsuccessful email for the role: "Dear Ms. XXX, we would be pleased if you improved your German and got in touch with us again. Kind regards". I was given no apology for this after I wasted 4 hours of my time travelling for the interview, the interviewers time and EUR 40 for transport.
