I interviewed at Twincraft Skincare (Essex Junction, VT)
Interview
Brought in, asked questions and taken on a tour. I need to put 30 words in here to do what I actually want to do on this site so I need to just write a little more.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Twincraft Skincare (Winooski, VT) in Nov 2020
Interview
The HR Generalist Lisa contacted me very shortly after submitting my application to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was around 20-30 minutes and she gave me a great idea of what the position would entail. Within a few days, I was contacted by Elizabeth, the director of HR. She and I scheduled an on-site interview within the week. The interview was thorough and felt more like a conversation than anything. She showed me around the facilities and allowed me to get a true feel for what working at Twincraft would look like. It was a very positive experience overall.

Question 1
They asked why I was interested in this role and what I am looking for.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Twincraft Skincare (Essex, VT) in Oct 2020
Interview
Received a phone screen from an HR person and talked about basic background info. I originally applied for a Lab Tech job but she asked if I was interested in other positions as well, and I said yes. A few days later I received a call from who I believe was the president or who after some short discussion convinced me to interview for the liquids batch maker position.
My in person interview was primarily with the HR manager. It was more me sitting there while she ranted about how she basically had the CEO's ear and could do whatever she wanted. She proceeded to tell me about how she was constantly skirting along the fringe of breaking labor laws so often that she was talking with their labor lawyer every other day. It was less of an interview than me sitting there and nodding while she rattled on and on. Then during the plant tour I received from the plant manager they discussed a recent employee injury/safety violation directly in front of me!
In short, there were more red flags than a bullfighting convention. I cannot express how unprofessional and off-putting the whole process was. There were more things I could mention but this review has gone on long enough and I think you get the idea. I wouldn't touch this place with a ten-foot pole and I pity anyone who works there who has to deal with the psychopathic management.
