I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at U.S. Pharmacopeia (Rockville, MD) in Jun 2018
Interview
I applied online and heard back from a recruiter within a week to schedule a phone interview. It went well, and I went in for an in-person interview the following week. I was interviewed by two people. One was very nice, but the other one seemed to have an attitude problem. The person made the whole thing very awkward. I won't go into detail about the questions they asked, but I was just uncomfortable.
The recruiter said they would get back to me by the end of the following week, but it's been a month since the interview and I've heard nothing, not even a rejection. You would think a respectable organization like U.S. Pharmacopeia could be professional and courteous enough to let job seekers know about the outcomes, but I guess I expected too much. I can understand that it could be an awkward conversation to have, but isn't that a part of a recruiter's job?
I still think USP is a great organization, but if you have an in-person interview and don't hear back from them in 1-2 weeks, I wouldn't keep my hopes up. Read other reviews on Glassdoor about USP's lack of common courtesy. They even replied to a reviewer who had a similar experience saying they would make changes, but they clearly haven't.
