      Intern Interview

      6 Feb 2010
      Anonymous employee
      Washington, DC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at U.S. Senate (Washington, DC) in Nov 2009

      Interview

Phone Interview asking about why I wanted to work for the Senate, and then more in-depth questions about my political views, what I expect to gain from the internship, my previous work experience, examples of leadership, teamwork, what two of my weaknesses are, what two of my strengths are, how good I am with time management and juggling multiple tasks, and how I deal with management. I was also asked a few questions about what issues I wanted to work on in the office and why, and where I thought these issues were going in terms of legislation. Overall pretty straightforward, just have good answers to the questions I stated above and I am sure you will do great, as it definitely worked out for me.
