I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at UKG in Nov 2024
Interview
First round was speaking to an HR recruiter who gave me an OA. Took the assessment and then got ghosted. One of the questions on the assessment was unreasonably hard and required mathematical knowledge of combinatorics and Fermat's Little Theorem. Looked it up on Leetcode and it was listed as medium, however, the comments suggest that it should be a hard. It doesn't seem like the company takes the time to look over the questions that they are giving the candidates and probably just pick them randomly.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at UKG
Interview
Couple of emails with the acquisition staff member.
1 Phone call about my technical background.
2 technical interviews -same day- for about 2hrs.
Next day email and phone call to offer the position.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UKG (San Diego, CA) in Feb 2019
Interview
I began with a call from a recruiter asking about what positions I am interested in, my ideas about my future etc. After, I took an online hackerrank coding test after, the next week after i went in for an in person interview with 4 different team members and a lot of whiteboard algorithm problems and questions about what I currently do [responsibilities, past projects, java specific questions]
I found the interview process to be timely and effective. My recruiter Gracie was spectacular in getting back to me quickly and with the information requested. The questions were challenging and even if I didn't know the answer, I found there were mental paths to discuss. Overall I found the interview process to be well architected, being an interviewee made me want the job more.
