Lots of virtual interviews. Went very well, completed 6 rounds. Got ghosted by recruiter for a week. Finally told someone else got the position and they would stay in touch. Didn't happen.
TLDR: The recruiter was the reason I declined next steps and it was a series of missteps, not just one. They sent a calendar invite for the wrong time we discussed (easy to do, no big deal despite carving out that time from my current employer) and then during the actual interview they showed up and were extremely transactional. They were unable to articulate basics about the job such as the category or org the role would roll into, nor did they ever follow-up when we verbally discussed benefits packages etc. Overall, the TA team needs to be put under a good lens because as attracted as I am to UKG with their new leadership, the TA's are doing a disservice to luring in good talent.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UKG (Lowell, MA) in Mar 2024
Interview
Screening with the recruiter, call with the hiring manager to discuss the details of the position and ultimately call with a senior member of the team to see if I would fit in their culture.
