I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UL Solutions (Fremont, CA)
Interview
The UL executives/hiring managers provided a very comfortable and somewhat entertaining environment to be in--not like your typical hiring event. Other potential interns were there as well. One of the employees gave us a tour of the building, and then we were chosen individually for an interview. Overall everyone there, including my interviewer, were very nice and lively individuals.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to work on a science project with a team?
Super easy interview process and I was kinda shocked how nothing technical was asked, especially when you take in account the work you are required to do. For example, I applied for the Radio Frequency Intern position and absolutely nothing related to Radio Frequency was asked.
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UL Solutions (Northbrook, IL)
Interview
Asked a lot of behavioural questions about projects and stuff. Was on a Microsoft Teams call with someone from their hiring team. They were very enthused and disinterested. Didn't really ask any follow up questions

What was a time where you had to make a decision with time constraints.
HR emailed to schedule an interview then had an interview with hiring manager. Hiring manager scheduled the following interview with the director. Within no more than a couple of days they shared the result via email.
