      Finance Interview

      16 Oct 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Singapore
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at UOB KayHian (Singapore) in Sept 2025

      Interview

Worst interview experience. From the start, the interviewer seemed uninterested and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. Instead of a two-way conversation, it felt like they were rushing through without giving me a fair chance to explain my skills or ask questions. There was a noticeable lack of respect and professionalism, which is especially surprising given the company’s supposed values. Interviews are a crucial part of any company’s image, and unfortunately, this experience left me with a poor impression of the organization. I hope the company invests more in training their interviewers to treat candidates with the respect they deserve. Based on this experience, I would hesitate to recommend applying here.

I interviewed at UOB KayHian (Newton, )

      Interview

Bosses are friendly and really appreciate the conversation and assurance provided by the managers. Notwithstanding, there were some hicups arising during the onboarding process and the appointment fell through. I do not doubt that this would be a nuturing environment that one could definitely learn and grow with many experienced professionals to learn from.

      Anonymous interview candidate
      Singapore
      No offer

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at UOB KayHian (Singapore) in Jun 2025

      Interview

This was the most unprofessional interview experiences I’ve had. The interview was conducted by one male and one female interviewer. The male interviewer, in particular, was extremely disrespectful throughout the process. He kept interrupting me while I was speaking and didn’t give me a chance to finish my thoughts. Even worse, he yawned multiple times during the interview, showing a clear lack of interest or respect. His attitude came across as arrogant and dismissive — as if he looked down on candidates. It felt like he didn’t see the interview as a two-way process, but rather as a chance to judge others from a pedestal. Interviews should be based on mutual respect and professionalism. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the quality and attitude of their interviewers.
