Interview
One online panel interview with 5 team members. No screening or final interviews. Overall the interview process was fairly smooth. It lasted for about one hour. I had about a week to prepare before hand, I heard back about a month later give or take.
I applied online. The process took 8 months. I interviewed at US Agency for International Development
Interview
For a PSC (personal contractor) position, so the interview was very regimented due to procurement rules. All candidates have to be asked the same questions in the same amount of time.
The questions themselves were disappointingly broad, about leadership, diversity, etc. They are asked by a 3 person technical evaluation committee. I was only allowed to ask two questions at the end.
I still haven’t heard back 4 months later…due to procurement rules all unsuccessful candidates must be informed— I’ve heard through the grapevine that these processes have been held up. Welcome to government
