I attended Air Force ROTC at University of Oklahoma and Oregon State University - successful completion resulted in a commission as a second lieutenant. Based on performance and test results I also received a pilot training slot.
Four year process of ROTC/Academy with weekly/monthly training to ensure readiness for service. Indoctrination to Air Force processes. Interviews for jobs are an application on a dream sheet. The Air Force says, "You're going here," and you go.

Interview with recruiting officer and direct manager was smooth, overall positive experience. At the end I've decided the position was not for me but it was nice to learn more about
Had to go through college and ROTC or US Air Force Academy. That is the main part of the interview. Air Force academy includes your local congressman/woman for a nomination.
