You need to take an Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test. Your score will be used to be qualified for a job you are applying for. You will be taking your test at Military Entrance Processing Station.
Very simple security clearance requirement, did you complete high school or have a ged. Do you have a clean background and zero drug use or l believe used in a certain amount of time.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at US Army in Dec 2020

Phone interview. Direct hire. Phone call to interview for position. Offered job next day. Accepted the position and moved to location, no money for relocation. Alaska is expensive, but valuable federal experience. Not panel interview.
