Consisted of a conversation with a recruiter. He made sure I had a pulse, and then introduced me to a lengthy process of paperwork that took months to complete. The recruiter worked with me throughout the process and we remain friends to this day, years later

Interview
Met the recruiter while I was in High School. Entered into Delayed Entry Program. I was followed around by my recruiter so he check and make sure I was good in school and to take the ASVAB.
Easy, MEPS was the most difficult part, especially the medical portion. The paperwork part was easy, most of the interview was complete prior to going. Questions were basic and non-threatening.

Interview
Interviewed with a recruiter over the course of a couple weeks. Collected the necessary paperwork and did some medical exams. Chose my ship date and shipped out a few months later.
