I applied for the Entry Level Marketing Rep position and got scheduled for an interview very quickly. I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager which consisted of mostly personality-like questions. Everything that was stated in the Indeed job listing was completely false advertising. The listing didn't disclose anything about door-to-door sales or commission-based pay. The office just felt like a frat house kind of vibe: blasting music, animals strolling around the office, and basketball hoops in the meeting room.
It was made pretty clear that this job basically catfishes you into coming in for an interview and seeming like a chill job before hitting you with the reality that there are no healthcare benefits, no guaranteed pay, and you have to use your own car/gas money to get to businesses and convince them to switch to solar energy.
It was very clear that this job was a multi-level marketing scheme that only seems to benefit the company, not its employees.
