Interview
I applied on USA jobs. Completed entrance exam, fitness exam and Structured Interview in four months after applying for Direct Hire. The interview process was a bit long only because I was the last to arrive. Arrived by 8 am and left around noon with only four of us getting interviewed that day. There is a panel of three sitting in front of you asking only about four questions. They are writing notes as you answer your questions.

Straight forward interview process. I was asked general questions about my background. After passing the interview, background and physical, I was given a conditional offer. I then took the polygraph three different times and was truthful throughout the process. I was told that I failed the polygraph and my conditional offer was rescinded . I've since passed polygraph tests in other law enforcement agencies without any issues.

First you will have to fill out and submit an entire interview package. A background investigator will be assigned to you. He will interview you and your family members as well as your neighbors. You must take a Polygraph exam and an in-person interview with a 3 person panel. You will be placed in pretend scenarios and they will gauge how well you respond in these scenarios.
