The HR connect took multiple days between emails to respond to basic questions prior to a screening call. After the HR screening, I was told they would be in contact with next steps or if they weren't moving forward. After multiple emails, I have never heard back, even a courtesy thank you for your time email. I know some companies don't always reach out automatically, but if I reach out for updates and have no answer it always comes off as unprofessional.
